Evenings were spent watching the boats bring in the latest catch. Our grandmother would head to the docks and buy a batch that would last us days on end. A few hours later, we would be met with the mouthwatering aroma of seafood being cooked, which never failed to make our stomachs rumble.
Soon we started exploring other seafood restaurants that bordered the boardwalk of Virginia Beach, and none lived up to the flavors that our grandmother created for us. We also invited friends to try our very own personalized seafood, and they started to crave more. And who were we to deny them? Soon, as our grandmother started getting older, it was hard for her to keep up with the demands of everyone, so through many long conversations, we decided to open up a restaurant in honor of her.
